Region free at last, region free at last, thank God almighty I’m region free at least!

I once again have a region free DVD player. Previously I was using a Malata for all my non-region 1 DVD viewing, but it was kind of crappy with sync problems and was starting to die on me. Plus it was at my ex-wife’s house.

To rectify my non region freeitude, I picked up the Philips DVP 3140 from Wal-Mart for approx $40. I just punched in the ultra top secret code and presto changeo, I’m watching my UK Scanners III disc. This means I’ll be asking Santa for the Japanese Grindhouse DVD set that includes all the fake trailers!
