Is Tarantino directing “Faster, Pussycat, Kill! Kill!” remake?

Did I miss something?

Is Tarantino really doing a remake of Faster, Pussycat, Kill! Kill! ? How did I miss that? I can’t help but think this is one of those projects he talks about endlessly, but never actually gets around to filming (i.e Vega Brothers). I’m pretty sure the next Tarantino flick we see on the big screen is gonna be Inglorious Bastards.
